just like we said it would be
I would like to think that i dont miss him. But that would be a lie. I miss the feeling of being safe, the reassurance that there is someone who needs me. Someone who longs to wake up next to me. I miss being intellectually stimulated, to be challenged by a worthy opponent. I miss the snide comments and hopeless banter. I miss the sadness and the wave of nostalgia that crashes over us as we slowly come to realise how alone we are, together. Without knowing, I have written in present tense. It's all in the past now. Every comment, every heart wrenching moment, every painful yet unforgettable memory all tucked away into the past. Fragments in a black bag, lying quietly out of sight, waiting for the day I will have the courage to flip through it once again. One day I won't be afraid to rummage through the remains, to remember and to cherish the good, the bad and the unforgettable. Do I miss him? Or am I just lonely? Do I really not miss him? Coming Along
Good Morning! Things are coming along nicely. Slow but very nicely! I'm pleased with our progress. I got fabric sorted yesterday and sadly, I don't have as much as I thought I did! LOL What a great reason to go buy MORE! One can never have too much fabric! At least that is what I keep telling hubby! I have to work today and am not looking forward to it in the least! I would so much rather be home sewing and sorting and playing all day! There isn't much news to be posted at the moment, but I will keep ya'll updated. Thanks for reading!

Phi Phi island
Hey guys! I’m in Phi Phi island and it’s absolutely fantastic! The scenery here is amazing, the weather is good and the company is great; making for a great vacation. I don’t even know if I can describe what we see here every day. The sea is a turquoise blue with sand as white as it is soft. There are islands all around us, reminding me a bit of the Cyclades, with such thick foliages that it makes one think of patches of jungle. The food here is so amazing that you just don’t want to stop eating – I’ve experienced that a couple of times, you just don’t want to leave that last piece of meat on your plate for fear that you will regret it later on in life. On every street corner there are places to get the most amazing Thai massages you could think of while looking out at the sunset. Have I described paradise yet? Because if I haven’t this is what it truly feels like – paradise on earth. As we are swimming we just keep thanking the Lord for this most amazing treat. It feels like the... (more)

What's this about?
I just don't get it. For the life of me, I just can't figure it out. My thought on things is that groups of people that are working toward a common goal should be thrilled to help each other. Is that wrong? I am a 'group' junkie. I love to join different yahoogroups. I'm constantly looking for new ones to join. My family calls me the "Yahoogroup Queen" If a subject comes up and we aren't sure about it, I jump in and say "I'll look for a yahoogroup about it!" LOL I drive my family nuts! And now they just laugh at me! I think I'm perfectly 'normal' but then again.......................... So, why is it that when another 'charity' joins a group that is similar or at least has the same type of goal, the owner, and the person get bashed? Why are they threatened? Isn't helping children (in this case) the ultimate goal no matter how it gets there? I've had group owners tell me to delete my signature and then I can join their group. Um, I don't think so.
